Six Billion was founded in 2003 by Kelly McEvers, Nathan Deuel, and Thiago de Mello Bueno, who form the magazine's permanent staff. The rest of the work is supplied by contributors, producers, and editors from around the world. See the "About Issue" page in each issue to learn more.
